Hi I'm Kameron

I grew up in Japan. I speak Spanish. I'm a nerd. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

About me? Well I'll give you the low-down: I'm from a family of 10, 5 sisters, 2 brothers and my parents. We grew up all over the world because my Father was in the Army. We've lived in Germany, Japan, Texas, California, and Utah. Change is just a part of my life, and it's awesome. Even our family is full of different cultures, I have 2 sisters from Ghana, Africa and a Hispanic brother. I like to have fun, I feel that's why we are here on earth! We don't have enough time to be sad or bored or angry, we have to have fun! Between listening to Music, being a nerd with Computer Science (my college major), and the Great Outdoors those are my interests, but everything needs to have a balance to include whats most important, which is my family and my religion. That's who I am.

Why I am a Mormon

I've always been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints but it wasn't until recently that I found my own testimony. I never really felt like God answered my prayers, nor really knew if He was even real. I was so focused on what I "thought" God was going to tell me, that I kept missing what He was trying to tell me all along, I wasn't paying attention to what really mattered. God loves me, He loves us all, and now I know what really matters. I know that God is who makes us happy as long as we do what he asks, compared to momentary happiness that we get from the world. God wants to help us so much, but sometimes we don't give him a chance. God gives me purpose, I will live with him again. That's my goal, that's what's most important to me, and that's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Right now I am serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Tempe, Arizona Mission. I'm currently in Yuma, Arizona and I love it. It's awesome to be able to help teach about God and help others find what's most important in this life. Plus for me, I learn everyday about how I can be better. It's a constant improvement process, we learn everyday, and on the mission I'm forming habits that I know will help me for the rest of my life. We make a lot of mistakes, but you never learn if you don't make mistakes. Through failure comes success!
