Hi I'm Austin William A. Davis

I love to attend BYU-I. I married to my most precious wife and have two handsome dogs! I am deaf and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am attending to BYU-Idaho. I am studying to become family history researcher and Seminary/Institute Teacher. I don't realized how much I enjoy do family history. It help me to develop my skills and my career for family history. I also practiced to become teacher. I have found how much I love for all students. It don't matter I am deaf or have health problems, I can tell who I am. I love to share His gospel to everyone and bring their joy to God.

Why I am a Mormon

My name is Austin Davis. I born with good parents who are willing to care of me. I also born as being deaf and two different health problems that discovered later in my life. I have tough life, however I looked back that I did have faith in my life that depend on the Lord and taught me to develop who I am. I married to my most precious wife on this earth and heavenly. I am so happy and I can't even describe how joy I have right now. I have a awesome and best parents and parents in law. All of them teach me and my wife how to stay on right path and stay close to God and his Son. I have 4 and 3 beautiful sisters and sisters in law. I have 5 strong and wise brothers in law. All of them are here to hang out around with me and my wife. I finally discovered who I am. I have skills that I can use. I have American Sign Language skill, still learning Chinese language, do family history work, and more things I can do in my life. I can't do anything without the Lord help me. I studied so hard and pray long as I can express my concerns for myself, my wife, families, and more. I have been growing my testimony and change my life by keeping studying, obey the commandments and law of lands, pray, attend to sacrament meeting and temple and by doing righteousness. It will help me to develop who I am and I am member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It means I am Mormon.

How I live my faith

It is hard for me to explain how can I live my faith because it bring me so such joy that I can't describe it. I had been calling in a few different places to serve the communities for the Lord and it turned that I have a lot of blessings that people who need my help. I also called to serve the Lord's mission to Arizona Mesa Mission. I had been served there for two years. I had been truly blessings for all people who are deaf and seek for the gospel that they need to listen and ask for the Lord's guide. I helped with all different companions to bring all people from their darkness to light and grow their testimony. I learned that if I keep study and pray for the Lord and it will pour the blessings that I seek for. I always seek for the personal to grow my faith, trust, testimony, protect, and more that I can feel comfort and lead me more prepared for the second coming.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Austin William A. Davis
What is testimony? Well that mean that we can show what we believe in and we can show you how we love Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. The testimony will teach us and give us more knowledge about that gospel that really care about us a lot. That gospel is about Jesus Christ as his doctrine. I want to share with you my experience. I have struggled with my testimony but I believe in that gospel is true but don't know how does it apply to me. I started to realized to find the answer by through my testimony. One member taught all people, He made a lot of cards. He write down the cards. For example car, wife, children, video game, tv, family, date, and etc also he write the card as Testimony. He put the card on the floor. He said that people need to pick a card that you need to sacifice. They picked all cards expect testimony. They refused sacifice...testimony. That mean they had believe in Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ. They are really desire to share with their testimony to everyone. that what Testimony mean. Show more Show less

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Austin William A. Davis
That question that ask me and my answer is not true. Jesus Christ love only mormons?...not ture. Jesus Christ is Son of God and love all people does matter what they did had hard time with him because you have chose to not follow him. I always want to help all people in what they need because I am tried to be like Jesus Christ as His examples. I am honesty with all of you, I don't know who you are but I am tried to learn to love all people. I can't image how much did Joesph Smith had suffered and helped all people at any time when he had suffered with mobs to hurt him because he love all people. Show more Show less
