Hi I'm Nicole

I'm a flutist. I love to travel. I'm married to my best friend, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 25 years old. I'm a freelance musician and music teacher. This fall I'm headed back to graduate school to get a masters degree in flute performance. I love learning and sharing my love of music whenever I can. I play in symphonies and in a few chamber groups and enjoy doing both. I love teaching and working with students because I believe music is a great way to spread joy and to improve lives. A few years ago I was a missionary in Phoenix Arizona, and I loved it! I loved sharing my faith with everyone I met and continue to try to do so today. About a year after returning home I married a wonderful man and we are enjoying building our lives together. While we don't have kids yet, I look forward to the opportunity some time in the future to add to our family when the time is right. I grew up as the oldest of five kids, it was always a little crazy but even now my favorite times are when I am with my family. We've moved to various countries throughout my life and I've enjoyed seeing the world with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in this gospel, but for each of us we have to choose how we are going to live what we have been taught. For me one of those moments was when I chose to serve as a missionary. As I made the decision to serve, I was reminded of the peace and happiness this gospel has brought to my life. It has blessed my family immensely, and it has shaped my life. I don't know where I would be without the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I try to live up to the promises I believe I have made with God to follow his commandments and to love those around me. As a missionary I had the opportunity to share the gospel with anyone I met, and now, while I don't wear a missionary name tag anymore, I try to still be a good example of my faith and to share the gospel with those around me. I have something that makes me incredibly happy, and I want to share it with anyone I can.
