Hi I'm Lizzie Sandstrom

I love quoting movies, laughing with my friends, playing the piano, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a marriage and family studies major at BYU-I and with that I'm going to go to law school to become a family lawyer. I've been there for about two years now and it's been great! I've met some of my best friends while being in Idaho and I've really become more grounded in my personal testimony while being there. I like watching/quoting movies with my friends, reading, the occasional craft now and again, playing the piano/violin, and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

Honestly, I'm a Mormon because my parents are Mormons. But that's not the only reason, believe me. My dad's parents were members, but when he was younger they weren't really into going to church if you know what I mean. They're better now. My mom's parents have always been avid church-goers. I've personally chosen to be a member because I felt it was the best thing for me. And it's been awesome! The people in my ward are amazing and I just have a deep feeling that I know the church is true. So I'm sticking with it.

How I live my faith

Sometimes this is a hard thing to do, but I guess that means I need to work harder. I live my faith by going one day at a time and trying to be nice to people. Recently I've been really nonjudgmental of other people and I think that helps me live my faith. I help people and I do talk about the church when it comes up in conversation. Mostly I try to understand people and help them. That's the biggest thing that I do. I listen to people. I help out in my Young Women program when we do service activities and stuff like that too.
