Hi I'm Christine

I am a wife and mother of 4 beautiful children. I am a Ballroom Dance Instructor, I ride a motorcycle, shoot guns, & I'm a Mormon.

About Me

About me? Well, I'm a sister and middle child in a family of 7 children, a mom of 4 children, and I've been a wife for 17 years to my husband and best friend. My hobbies and interests include piano, singing, hiking, playing, running, camping, softball, football, shooting. But my two ultimate favorite things to do are Ballroom Dance and ride my motorcycle. I teach Ballroom Dance to an awesome youth formation team and enjoy doing choreography and creating new numbers. I firmly believe that dancing changes lives for the better. Riding a motorcycle unleashes a whole new freedom that cannot be experienced in any other way. I love it!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints my whole life. I have been blessed to know from an early age the truthfulness of the gospel. I was born of goodly parents who taught me about Jesus Christ and His love for me. Who taught me about a Heavenly Father that loves us as His own. I know that I am a daughter of Heavenly Father and I know that he loves me as an individual, as well as, every person that has ever walked the earth. I have thought about investigating other religions only to discover where my heart belongs and where I know the truth is. There is other truth out there, however, the WHOLE truth is contained ONLY in this church, and in this Gospel, and in the Scriptures, including the Book of Mormom and the King James Bible. I am a Mormon because the Temple allows me to be sealed to my family forever. I am a Mormon becuase the spirit has testified to me that Jesus is the Christ and this is His gospel on the earth today. There is no other.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be like Jesus. I have heard it said that we should be a "window to his love". That others should be able to see Christ through us and what we do and who we are. I am not always perfect, and sometimes a poor example of how Christ would live, but that doesn't keep me from trying. I have the opportunity to work with the youth in my church. I DJ our monthly dances and when possible I teach dancing to them. My hope is that I can teach them that there is a proper way to dance and have fun without following the worlds example. Who knows if it is actually sinking in. ;) I also have the opportunity to visit with other women of my faith often and share my testimony with them.
