Hi I'm Gina

I'm a wife to a 3rd year medical student, a mother of two, a pediatric nurse, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mother of a 4 year old girl, and a 1 year old boy. I'm a pediatric nurse. I played volleyball in college, and I still enjoy playing. I love watching and playing sports, and I love spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the Mormon church when I was 20. I had a happy life up until my 20's, and did not consider myself a religious person. When I went away to college at 18, I played volleyball and there were a few mormon girls on my team. I was fascinated with them, and with their lifestyle. The more I learned about them as people, the more I learned about their religion too. I started going to church meetings with them. One day, the missionaries came to my door, and I knew I was ready to hear what they had to say. I wish that I could say that it was an easy decision, but it was not. I was afraid of what my family would think, and my friends that I grew up with. I was afraid that I would not have what it takes to truly live the way I should. In the end, I knew that it was the right decision, and everything else fell in to place. When the Holy Spirit testifies to you, it is hard to deny it! My family has been wonderful and supportive, as have my friends. I have now been a mormon for almost 10 years. I have 2 beautiful children and a wonderful husband who I love very much.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my best to keep the commandments. I am dedicated to teaching my children about the gospel and it's importance in our lives. I'm not perfect, and I'm the first to admit that. Sometimes I don't feel like going to church, or saying my prayers. When I have days like this, something always happens, and I am reminded of WHY it is important. It is amazing to me how aware our Father is of us.
