Hi I'm Kyleen

I grew up in Chandler, AZ and have traveled many places performing. I teach dancing, acting and singing in NV. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love singing, dancing and acting. I have been a performer most of my life! I believe music speaks volumes over words alone and can heal and change a persons life. I attended Brigham Young University, where I performed with the Young Ambassadors and met my husband. I have been married for 10 years and have two beautiful girls and a 10 month old Shorky dog named Bella. When I am not teaching dance or voice, or caring for my kids, I sing in the Choral Artists of Southern Nevada, a non-profit chorale. I also enjoy blogging, scrapbooking, working out, reading good books, camping, swimming, snow skiing, parties, putting on productions, meeting up with friends, and eating anything sweet! I am very into politics and am thinking of running for office someday soon! I believe the world needs good, strong, and reliable leaders and role models! I am working on starting a Children's Valley choir and spending my time volunteering for more charities, looking to give to those who are in need!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in an LDS home, so I have never really known any different. Nor have I ever doubted the validity and truthfulness of the church! I have lived through and experienced many great miracles, not only in my life, but in the lives of others, that continue to testify the truthfulness of this gospel to me. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true! I know that we are guided through a modern day prophet, President Monson, who is the Lord's mouthpiece today. I am grateful for the Prophet Joseph Smith, who as a young boy, felt the need and followed the counsel of the scriptures to ask for himself, which church was the true church! I know he saw God, the Father and His Son Jesus Christ, and translated the Book of Mormon through revelation. He would not have given his life if it was not true. I know Christ lived and suffered for all of us, so we can return to our Heavenly Father and be sealed as families for Time and all Eternity. Living the Gospel standards is not difficult, nor is it a bunch of rules and restrictions that keep us from enjoying life! Actually, it is quite the opposite. The Gospel standards, Commandments and The Word of Wisdom, keep us from becoming addicted to harmful substances, keeps us out of harmful situations, keeps our bodies and minds free from corruption and brings us closer to Him that created us! I am grateful for the Gospel in my life and the power and blessings of the Priesthood! This is my testimony!

How I live my faith

I have had many callings throughout my years as a Latter Day Saint, mostly in that of music, but I have also been on many committee's, organizing activities and choirs, and enjoy working with the members of our ward and stake. I am currently a visiting teacher and was just released as chorister.
