Hi I'm Jodi

I am a wife, mother and grandmother. I love spending time with my family and watching them grow. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am happily married to my wonderful husband of 26 years. We have 8 kids, a son and a daughter in law, and a beautiful grandson. With my large family, I can relate to the many stages in a family. I have married children, college kids, teenagers, and young children. I have been involved in many schools at different age levels and love watching my children's participation in many activities from band, choir, orchestra, football, track, theater, and P.T.A. programs. I have a teaching degree which has helped me in raising my family. I love to cook, read, organize, spend time with my husband, and go to lunch with friends. My happiest and most rewarding moments is when I'm serving and helping other people.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born into a family who had established the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in their home. I am a Mormon because my religion makes me a better person. I have great joy and peace in my life knowing that Heavenly Father loves us and he has made it possible for us to return and live with him one day. He has given us a Savior, the scriptures, prophets, temples, commandments and the gift of the Holy Ghost to help us develop faith and to make choices that will bless our lives forever.

How I live my faith

For the past three years, I have had the opportunity to serve the youth in our area by organizing and leading an annual young women's camp that serves to train and unify 160 or so teenage girls. Camp provides them with opportunities to strengthen friendships, learn knew skills, have fun together, sing songs, provide service and increase their knowledge that they are daughters of a Heavenly Father who loves them. I also serve friends and neighbors through periodic acts of good christian service in times of need.
