Hi I'm Julie

I'm wife and a mother of five, grandmother of eight (so far!), and I run a daycare business in my home. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being a wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. For the past 22 years, I have been a business owner by running a childcare business in my home. I love children and enjoy reading, crocheting, and riding a bicycle built for two with anyone who is brave enough to ride with me. My husband and I grew up and met in our small hometown in Idaho, but life brought us to Colorado many years ago, and we raised our children here and have made this our home.

Why I am a Mormon

I am blessed to have had a long heritage of ancestors who embraced the gospel in far away places such as England and Wales. Having been taught from my youth about our Savior Jesus Christ and about His love for each one of us, I have worked to gain my own personal testimony of the truthfulness of these things by praying, by reading the scriptures and by teaching my children of the Savior. My heart has been touched countless times by the Spirit, and I know that this church is true. The Gospel has provided me and my family with an anchor to hold on to as we navigate the storms of life.

How I live my faith

As a mom to my own five children, I always made church attendance a priority and tried to be faithful about family scripture study and family prayer. Because of my knowledge of the gospel, I would always strive to pass that compassion and pure love to my children in hopes that they would come to know their Savior because their mother knew the Savior. My children are grown now and have their own families, and I have no greater joy than seeing them with their own testimonies and raising their children to come to know and love this gospel, too. Additionally, being a "Daycare Mom" to countless children through the years has helped me to realize how much our Heavenly Father and Jesus love each one of us. Jesus taught us by his example how to love one another. I pray each day for the blessings of Heaven to be upon this home as I care for these precious children of God . I pray for patience and strength and love and that I might be an influence for good in the lives of the children in my care and in the lives of their families.
