Hi I'm Annalee!

I love musical theatre, organizing, singing, having fun, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Right now, I am serving a mission in Seattle, speaking Spanish. But before my mission, I was going to college. I plan to return once I am finished with my mission. I will finish my studies of math education and theatre. I love both those subjects! I love teaching and helping people learn and grow. I also love studying, analyzing, and participating in theatre. I love the way theatre opens our minds to the lives of other people. I love the way I can find the true principles of life and of the Gospel of Jesus Christ embedded in every piece of theatre with which I have come in contact. I love seeing that bits of truth are all around us, and I love being able to say that I can combine all that truth and see a clear picture through everything that is encompassed in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This brings me so much happiness!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a home where both my parents are Mormon. They have taught me about the Church and about Jesus Christ since before I can remember. Little by little, my faith in the Church grew. My conversion to know that The Book of Mormon is true, and that Joseph Smith was a prophet, and that Jesus Christ is my Savior came from little experiences and incidents built up over a long period of time. Now I am fully converted, and I am even serving a mission right now in Seattle, Washington speaking Spanish! I know that each person can know for themselves the truth, and sometimes people know with one big experience, but lots of times, it happens just like it did for me -- little by little, year by year. I exercised faith to continue to do the things that are right and to keep the commandments, and in doing so, I was able to have that small bit of faith grow each day that I read the Book of Mormon and each Sunday when I went to Church. I know that having the truth in my life is important to me, and I am so happy that I found it. That's why I'm a Mormon. Mormons have the truth! :)

How I live my faith

I live my faith by currently serving a mission. All day every day, I run around Seattle as a representative of Jesus Christ, sharing and teaching those that speak the Spanish language. It is a wonderful opportunity to be able to bring the Gospel to them in their native language. I know that Heavenly Father loves all his children and wants to give them all an opportunity to hear the Gospel. That is why I am working for Him (Jesus Christ) right now. I am helping to share His message with all the people in Seattle. English Translation: I love Spanish, and I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me. I love Him. Also, I love the people in Seattle, especially the Hispanics. They are very good people, and they help my faith in Jesus Christ to grow. It is a marvelous opportunity to help bring them closer to God. I know that this Gospel, this Church, and this truth will change the life of any person who lets it change them. I love being a missionary!
