Hi I'm Klint

I live in Grand Island, NE with my wife and four children. I am an orthodontist and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a dad and love spending time with my four wonderful children. I have had the privilege of being married to my amazing wife for 16 years. I love the outdoors and especially enjoy flyfishing. I enjoy playing sports. I spend a significant amount of time continuing my education.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was raised as a member of the LDS church, I consider myself a convert. At some point each individual must have their own conversion regardless of when they became a member of the church. This conversion begins with accepting Jesus Christ as our personal Savior. I took to heart the challenge and promise found in Moroni chapter 10 verses 3-5 of The Book of Mormon. The process was not easy, as I felt tremendous adversity in my personal life while seeking to know if there is a Living God. After many trials of my faith I received a personal witness that there is indeed a Living God, that he loves me and that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ I can return to live with Him. Through this process I came to know the truthfulness of the message of the restoration of the fulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ on the earth today. I believe that the Holy Bible is the word of God and that He continues to reveal His will concerning His children on the earth today through a living prophet. I know that this living gospel in all of its fullness was restored to the earth through Joseph Smith and that The Book of Mormon is also the word of God. This book provides a second witness to accompany the Bible in testifying that Jesus is The Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to become a true disciple of Christ. I believe that faith without works is dead and that one must actually be a doer of the Word and not a hearer only. Just as Peter was asked to 'feed My sheep', I feel that we show our love for the Savior by serving our fellow man. The Bible and Book of Mormon also say that we can show our love and committment to God by keeping His commandments. I have and will continue to serve in many various ways, both within my community and church.
