Hi I'm Ellisa

I am married and the mother of two children. I work full time for T-Mobile. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a military family and moved around a lot as a child. I attended 5 different elementary schools, before we settled in Virginia, in the Washington DC area. I grew up there and LOVE the east coast! After college I got married and we moved to Washington state. I have learned to love Washington and have been able to become very active with camping, hiking and rock climbing. Between the mountains and the coast there are so many things to do here and I love to be outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents and my grandparents and my great-grandparents are all Mormon, and I grew up Mormon. . .but that is not why I am still a Mormon. I am a Mormon because I prayed to find out if this church was true and if what I had been taught all my life was correct. I am a Mormon because I have received that witness many times throughout my life that God is real and that he does love me. That Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that he restored this church in it's fullness. That the Bible and the Book of Mormon are the words of God. I am a Mormon because I find true joy and peace in the gospel.

How I live my faith

I teach my own children what we believe and encourage them to find out for themselves. I try to be an example to others of what I believe so that I am not a person who says one thing but does something else. I go to church and serve where I can. I currently participate in a children's organization in the church that teaches children about God and Jesus Christ.
