Hi I'm Alice

I grew up in rainy Seattle. I'm a student. I love to show dogs .I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in and raised in Washington where I learned to love life despite the rain; I have played soccer, gone camping, walked home from school and competed in dog shows through showers, sprinkles and downpours. I am the oldest of two children, with a younger brother who exceeds me in both height and Rubiks Cube abilities. I was raised in the gospel by a tenderly loving father and mother who embody faithful service and courage. I pursued my dream of attending BYU Hawaii despite multiple denials and now study International Cultural Communication at the beautiful campus in Laie Hawaii. I hope to one day work in the Public Relations field and pursue my passion of communicating with people from all over the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to live the way I do because I have a testimony that the standards and guidelines I have grown up knowing are the best way to live a full and happy life. I cant imagine trying to navigate through life not having the comfort of knowing that as long as I live in accordance to the words of our Prophet and follow the guidance from the Holy Ghost that I will be protected and watched over. I know that the things I have learned throughout my childhood are sacred and inspired because I have tried and tested them for myself and found that amazingly, they always work. That's the beauty of this gospel I love, you are cared for individually and your hopes and wishes and trials are known. No matter how lost and confused you may feel, the Lord will always give you guidance and help. It may not always be in the way you expect or want, but it will always come. That's why I'm a mormon.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my faith through my actions. At church we are given callings or responsibilities to serve the members of our faith as well as encouraged to share our love and charity with people who are not of our faith. When I am in my community, I try and show people through my words and actions that I truly care. I know that if I show my friends, coworkers and neighbors that I truly and genuinely care for them as a person, then they are all the more likely to allow my to share with them what I believe. I love to answer questions about the Gospel and how I practice my faith, it helps me show that I am willing and open to sharing the joy that I receive from the things I believe. Striving to first befriend those that I meet is how I live my faith.
