Hi I'm Ross Hoskin

I love to have fun outdoors, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born In Everett Washington and at the beginning of middle school I moved to Rochester Washington. In high school I played as the nose guard on our football team and all of my four years there that pretty much consumed all of my attention. Now that I am Graduated I have a lot more time to spend on my hobbies. Probably my favorite thing to do is work on and drive my truck. I own a 1989 Toyota pickup. It has about a 3 inch lift and a severe stereo. I can take that truck any where. I love to drive it off road with my country music blaring. I also enjoy shooting my guns with my friends, riding dirt bikes and fishing with my family. My favorite kind of fishing is ocean fishing. We fish for Halibut, Tuna, Lin cod, and Sea Bass, Its such a thrill when you get a huge fish on your line and knowing how good it will taste once you fry it up!! I also just finished my first year of college, I am studying Criminal Justice. My goal is to one day work as a police officer in a small town where everyone knows each others first name, a place where God, family, and friends come first.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in this church. Over time I have grown to personally know of its truth. Through His church the Lord has helped me through the tough times and fun times. When I was young I just went to church because my parents said so, but as I have grown up I have learned for myself that this IS the true church. I know without the slightest that as long as we follow his sacred plan and put in a strong faithful effort God can, and will, do the rest. As long as we do whats right and strive to better ourselves through him every thing will turn out alright. I have experienced this myself and I hope that one day you will too. "Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid; for the Lord JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also has become my salvation." 2 Nephi 22:2

How I live my faith

I live and love my faith many ways. Every second and third Sunday of the month I teach men ages 18 through their late 30's ways to live their lives righteously and through our savior Jesus Christ. I attend church regularly and participate in our activities such as BBQ's sporting events, and youth camping trips. I am preparing to serve our Lord for two years in Atlanta, Georgia. I will be serving as a missionary for our church. I will try to spread the truth of His gospel to those willing to hear. I will be living a life of service to our Heavenly Father and also to my fellow man. Through this I hope to strengthen those around me and myself.
