Hi I'm Kelli

I am married to a wonderful man, a mother of two awesome boys, a personal trainer and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being a wife and a mother of boys. I love new adventures, exploring new places and learning new things. I grew up in Arizona, California and Nevada. I love to lift weights, hike, mountain bike, snow ski, water ski, play basketball, attend girls camp, read, watch movies, window shop in historic downtowns, take late night walks and just hang out with my hubby and boys. I would love to get scuba certified and take a vacation to Bora Bora and New Zealand. My dream job would be a marine biologist. I love animals and the ocean. I am currently the Laurel advisor in our ward, which I absolutely love, and I work in the Temple Baptistry every other week.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was raised as a Mormon (went to church every Sunday and tried to live the commandments), I have my own conversion story. After my first year of college, I had to make a choice..would I choose to follow the Savior or follow the path of the world? I needed to know for myself if the Mormon Faith was true and not rely on the beliefs and testimony of my parents and others. That was a defining moment in my life. I prayed to know what path I should follow and I received my answer. From then on I was committed to the gospel of Jesus Christ, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. There have been times since then when doubt has crept into my mind...when I have trials that make me question the sacrifice that it takes to be a member of this church. However, I always remember the times in my life when the Spirit has testified the truthfulness of this gospel to me and I then recommit myself to the Lord.

How I live my faith

I have had many opportunities to serve the youth and children in my ward and stake. I was recently released as the the Assistant Stake Girls Camp Director. What a fabulous opportunity! I LOVED it! The youth in our stake amazing! We supervised and advised the Youth Camp Leaders (16-17 year old girls) and they did a great job organizing and leading the activities up at camp. They set such a wonderful example for the younger girls and shared their testimonies of Christ. I am now an advisor in our youth organization to the 16-17 year old girls. I teach Sunday lessons, help plan and prepare for weekly activities, facilitate planning meetings with the girls and help them make and reach their goals. I am continually amazed by the strength and testimony of these young women. I also serve in the Temple Baptistry with the youth, which is a wonderful blessing in my life. The peace and spirit I feel by being in the Temple every other week is absolutely wonderful.
