Hi I'm Marin

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Mesa, AZ. And I love my family.

About Me

I am an artist! At least I'd like to call myself that. I probably have spent more than half my life (besides sleeping and eating) creating something- whether it's with a sewing machine, paint brushes, or just singing! (Singing has always been a passion for me, I was a choir geek in high school). I love trying new things especially when there is a challenge and creativity involved. I also come from a very awesome and rather large family. It is wonderful to spend time with them, and now what I love most of all is spending time with my husband. We were recently married and now we are facing the crazy roller coaster of life holding tight to each other! It's wonderful!

Why I am a Mormon

Yes, life can be crazy at times. There have been moments when I feel as if God is sending we a big storm of challenges to see how well I will endure it. The answer during those times has always been the same: Just trust in the Lord and do your best! Everything works out in the end. Why am I a Mormon? Simply because of what I was taught, and now know to be true. Questions of life that we all ask are answered through the Gosple of Jesus Christ. Who am I? I am a daughter of a loving Heavenly Father! Why am I here? Because God sent us from His presence to be on Earth so we could receive a body, be tested and learn and grow through experience, and ultimately return to that loving God who gave us life! I know without a doubt that God is aware of me, that He cares about me, and as I excersize faith in Him and obey His commandments, I will find greater joy and satisfaction in this life then I could even imagine! That is why I am a Mormon. I know God lives, and these truths and others have been restored.

How I live my faith

I absolutely love the organization of the church! Every person is important, and has a part to play. No one is paid for what they do. When I was young I was very shy and the church gave me many opportunities to learn and grow in confidence through responsibilities I've been given. I have had a chance to teach about christ and direct music and visit and get to know lots of amazing people! I also was able to serve a mission for 18 months in New York. I taught people about Christ and the powerful influence for good that the His Gosple can have in our lives. It's a way to find true joy! I love these growing and service opportunities, it has made me who I am today! I love my Savior Jesus Christ, and I know he has been with me through everything.
