Hi I'm Gary

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and a father of five grown children. I am a freelance director of photography. I enjoy woodworking and metalworking.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a Mormon when in my twentys, over thirty years ago. I had no religion in my life and wasn't really looking. I was stationed in Utah at the end of my military stint and met my wife there. She was raised Mormon and as a result I was exposed to the church through her family. It took a few years for me to finally commit but I think I knew from the beginning that the gospel of Jesus Christ, as we know it, was true. It's hard for me to convey how accepting and living the Gospel has blessed us over the years. I have no doubt whatsoever that we are where we are supposed to be, and doing what we are supposed to be doing. Living a Gospel life is not always easy, but it is always rewarding.

How I live my faith

I am the Ward Clerk in our ward. I am involved with record keeping and finances in the ward. I work closely with the Bishop and his counselors in ward operations. As a hometeacher, I watch over four families in our ward, making sure any help they may need is given.
