Hi I'm Marty

I grew up in Washington State and I an independant businessman in the construction field and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father and a dad in a blended family of four girls and two boys and we now have six grand daughters and counting. I love all my kids with all my heart and some are very heart warming and some are heartaches because not all of my kids are active and yet some are very active and married in the temple. I have worked hard all my life in the construction field and I am a convert to the church as an adult in my mid twentys.

Why I am a Mormon

I had investigated a lot of different demoninations over the years before I met my first wife, who was an inactive member and still is to this day, The missionaries came to our door and sang the song to me "I am a Child of God. They taught me the lessons of baptism and repentance and challenged me to read the Book of Mormon and I did so in a very short time later was baptised, I really felt that I have found the right place to be and in the right direction that I need to take my life in

How I live my faith

I usually do not have to tell anyone that I am a Mormon, but if they have not figured it out with in the first few minutes I ask or inquire what church that they go to. This way they know what my standards are and it will lead to more questions about the church. I attend all the meetings because it helps me to build upon my spirituality and I really need to stay strong with the world trying to tear down my moral beliefs and every turn. I say prayers everyday and honor the sabbath day and attend the temple as often as I can.
