Hi I'm Abram

I study engineering. I love to snowboard and play lacrosse. and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I currently am studying Mechanical Engineering in hopes of attending grad school for Bio Medical engineering. In the winters I spend much of my free time snowboarding and in the summer, lacrosse. I love to be active. Anything outdoors intrigues me and you could classify me as a thrill seeker. I'd love to get my skydiving license and go base jumping overseas. I'd love to have a large family one day and take them all traveling.

Why I am a Mormon

Out of respect I went to church with my parents as a child. It wasn't until I decided to study on my own that I found my own faith. I read the Book of Mormon and prayed. I received an answer from Heavenly Father to know the the book was true. As I continued my study, my faith in Christ and the reality of his church on the earth grew. I have solidified my faith with continual study and prayer. I know that Christ lives and Heavenly Father guides his church through a living prophet.

How I live my faith

I attend church weekly and serve as a volunteer. I was given a calling, which is simply a volunteer assignment, to organize activities outside of church. I love doing it! I think that it is so much fun to serve.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

Our bodies are temples. To keep our bodies healthy and strong God gave us a guide. This guide allows us to show our devotion to Him in return for promised blessings. We are guided on proper eating to help increase our physical and spiritual health. We are to abstain from tobacco, alcohol, coffee, tea and illegal drugs. Show more Show less
