Hi I'm Charlie

I'm a crazy mountain biker, hiker, and dad. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in small farming community outside of Ogden, UT where the average number of cows out numbered the average number of humans by about 4 to 1. Through my career I have lived in many different parts of the country and have travelled to many different countries. It has been wonderful to meet so many wonderful people and cultures. Since moving to the Pacific Northwest I have developed a passion for mountain biking and hiking and as a result have begun to acquire a good number of scars and bruises. :-) I have a beautiful family with 3 children that remind me to live every day to its fullest and well as to remember that it never hurts to take a step back to laugh at my mistakes.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS family and been a member of the church my whole life; however, I had a period in my life where I felt confused and adrift. I knew what my parents believed, what my brothers believed, and what many of my friends believed but I was not sure about what I believed. It was not until I started the journey of discovery for myself that I found with surety that I received irrefutible proof from my Father in Heaven that what I was taught as a child was true.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith through the simple choices I make every day. I believe that the best way to demonstrate my faith is through my daily actions with my co-workers, family, and friends. I happily serve in the community as well as in the church.
