Hi I'm Ashley Alexander

I'm a water skier. I'm a chef. I'm a marketer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a twenty-six year old native of the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I'm married to the man I love and have a new puppy. I love to water ski in the summer, snow ski in the winter, and run all year round. I have a passion for cooking and reading. I work in marketing for a large tech company.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church, but that's not why I'm a Mormon. My testimony of the Church is centered in God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. As I've prayed to my Father in Heaven, I've received direction, been comforted in my sorrows, and received strength in times of need. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that He suffered for my sins and bore my sorrows and burdens in the Garden of Gethsemane and on the Cross. I know that He lives. Through the power of the Holy Ghost, I've felt an undeniable witness that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is God's church and that it is true. I know how I feel when I read the word of God in the Bible and Book or Mormon, when I pray, or when I follow the teachings of Jesus - and that feeling is peace. I'm a Mormon because in a world of uncertainty and moral ambiguity, the gospel of Christ is an anchor for my life. The Church helps me understand who I am as a daughter of God, what direction I want my life to take, and the eternal potential of my family.

How I live my faith

I try to read the scriptures and pray daily. I try to be open to help those around me. In the Church, I currently serve as a part-time volunteer missionary.
