Hi I'm Rhonda

I grew up in Michigan. I taught kindergarten for six years and preschool for five years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, a mother to 3 children, a teacher, a friend and the owner of two awesome dogs, I grew up with a lot of animals and have always loved being around animals and outdoors. I love to run, cycle, swim and hike. I enjoy baking and chcolate and going out with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised on and off in the Baptist church and have always had a strong faith in my Savior Jesus Christ. I met my husband in my late teens and learned about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I took the missionary discussions and prayed and fasted about the truth of what I was learning. I had a strong feeling that I should get baptized and become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It has been 20 years since I was baptized and my life has been so much better because of that decision.

How I live my faith

My husband and I attend church every Sunday with our 3 young children. Since I am a convert to the church, it has been amazing to see all that my children learn in their primary classes and how much they know about the scriptures and Jesus Christ. Being members of this church is not just something we do but it is who we are. It goes well beyond going to church on Sundays. My husband is involved in working with the young teenage boys groups and I am on a commitee to help organize events for all of the women that go to our particular church. My children participate in primary on Sundays and other activities throughout the months where they learn good values and hard work. I really can't imagine trying to raise my family any other way.
