Hi I'm Michelle

I'm a Mormon. I was born in Taiwan and lived in Asia for 14 years. I have been a member of the Church my whole life.

About Me

I am a stay at home mother of a one year old boy . My husband and I recently celebrated our five year anniversary! We met after we had both graduated from college. I majored in International Studies and minored in Ballroom Dance and Asian Studies. In my spare time I like to read and work out.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Mormon church my whole life. Both my parents are converts, so I've always had a special place in my heart for converts and missionary work. I really love being a member of this Church because it has helped me in so many ways. The teachings of the Gospel have helped me to make good decisions in my life and to understand the clear distinction between right and wrong. I feel that families are much happier when they live the principles of the Gospel and I am so grateful to have been given such wonderful parents who have taught me well. I have been blessed in my life and those blessings include a faithful husband and a beautiful child.

How I live my faith

My husband and I faithfully attend church every Sunday and we each have responsibilities there. I work with the children and my husband works with the youth. Service is an important aspect of Mormon life and we have been given much in return for service to others. I have also made great friendships with people at church through the visiting teaching program, where I visit one or two women on a monthly basis, just to see how they're doing. It's a way to not just make friends but to help others as well. Family prayer and scripture study is also an important part of our life.
