Hi I'm Robert

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Born and raised in a small town in western Washington, I'm the youngest of 4 raised in an active LDS home. I am married with 2 adult children. I enjoy sports and the outdoors, and I hike and climb as often as I can.

Why I am a Mormon

Being born into the church set a foundation for me and my beliefs. My parents and older siblings taught me and set an example for me how to live the teachings of the church. But it was up to me, to search out, study and pray to find out if the things I was being taught were true. I found out Heavenly Father loves me. I found that Jesus walked and taught here on earth. I found that I need to attend church every week in order to become a better person.

How I live my faith

In my line of work I travel from place to place fixing things for businesses, and it is my hope that as others observe what I do and what I say they will see only good in me. In the last 5 years I have had the opportunity to teach people about rock climbing, and helped them on their first climbing experience. This has been a joy for me and I hope has been rewarding for those I have worked with. As I have watched people overcome fears, gained confidence and trust in themselves and others, I have hoped they would recognize their growth and use it as an example for other trials they might face in their lives. Your time is never more rewarding than when you are serving others.
