Hi I'm Pavlova

I'm a Mormon. I was born in Guatemala. I was raised in California and Canada. I love art and technology. I love having FUN.

About Me

about me ... hmmm lets see... I am the second oldest of 7 (six girls one boy) from parents who have sacrificed everything (twice) to give there children a better life. I was blessed to be raised in the Gospel by parents who found the church at early ages. I speak spanish fluently and am determined to learn French soon! I am Canadian and yes!! :) I LOVE hockey, I played hockey for many years and still have a love for it. I have finished a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Contemporary Studies and a Diploma in Graphic Design and plan to get a Masters and PH.D some day, I have a love for art and technology. I spend my free time with my siblings and very close friends, because they are the most important people in my life. I love to play sports, drawing, reading the scriptures, laughing, scrapbooking, photography, anything hands on I love and just live life to the fullest. Have Fun and just LOVE life!! Life hasn't been the easiest, surprise! life brings trials but I am know thankful for everything that me and my family have gone through because I have seen how Heavenly Father has had a hand in helping us push through those times. My Family is the most important (next to the Gospel) to me they are my everything, cheesy, I know, but its true. I strive to live one day at a time the best that I can making sure that I enjoy each moment no matter what is happening, ya i wasn't always like that BUT people change and well I AM MORMON! and HAPPY!! ;)

Why I am a Mormon

Well, to start off like i stated before I have been raised in the Gospel, with parents who's faith never seems to faulter. Does that mean that I have always had my own testimony. Nope. Like everyone in Life, I had to find my own and stop relying on my parents faith. My parents moved from Guatemala to California, then from California to Canada to make sure that there children had the opportunities they didn't. They sacrificed A LOT for us and at a young age life seemed to just throw one trial after another for my family. It seemed that I grew up fast, wanting to be able to help my family in anyway I could. I worried a lot, tried my hardest to help and just wanted things to be better. I went to church because I wanted to make my parents happy but I didn't go to learn, I didn't have a strong testimony, it came and left. I got to a point in my life where I was stuck, I didn't know what to do, I was a very negative person. Until 1 day my baby sister told me to stop worrying about the family and focus on myself become happier. Then I got called to be a teacher at church and began to really learn, I fell in love with teaching and with the feeling I got from the spirit as I taught. From the examples of my parents, brother and best friends, and learning more and more I came to love the gospel one day at a time. I nurtured my testimony and it grew and grew and now.... I am Mormon, I know with all my heart that this Gospel is true, because I have seen it bless my life and that of my family. The Book of Mormon IS the word of God and Jesus Christ is my Savior and did die for me. I know the happiness that comes from living the Gospel, I see it in my life now and I wouldn't change it for anything in the world. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was restored by a living prophet and we do have a living prophet today. The only way to TRUE happiness is through the Doctrine of Christ. The Church is TRUE!! it truly is! if you don't believe me... Ask Heavenly Father :)

How I live my faith

Doing the Basics, its amazing how the Basic really help me live my faith. Prayer, church attendance and scripture study, this foundation has made my testimony grow and was what made my conversion possible. I live my faith by how I act towards others. I leave my faith in the way I am, the way I socialize and the way I live. I teach at church and love every minute. I pray daily for Heavenly Fathers guidance and try to thank Him for everything around me. I am blessed to be able to live my faith with the people around me and the strength they give me.
