Hi I'm Lise-Anne

I'm from Southern Alberta, I married a Southern Alberta man, we have 3 children and I design knitting patterns. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mother of 3. I love to cook and create. One thing about me is that I think being old fashioned never goes out of style. I'm only 26, but I grind my own wheat and make all my own bread. I run a business from home where I sell creative knitting patterns that I design myself. I love music and believe that the walls of every good home should be filled with wholesome and inspirational music. I'm a little crazy when it comes to cleanliness, and would say that I'm more than a little OCD. I would love to relax enough to enjoy my children more thoroughly from day to day, and not worry about the little messes around me. In theory I know that life is too short for these trivial little things, but yet it seems to be a continual struggle for me, one that I am working at daily. I have the most wonderful husband in the world. He is my rock, and is so patient with me in all my shortcomings. I think life is an adventure, one that I'm excited to experience.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that I have a Savior and Redeemer who loves me and died for me. I know that because the priesthood has been restored to the earth, we are the only church on the earth today who can claim the proper authority to act in God's name through his will. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet and restored the true church of Christ on earth today, complete with a living prophet and apostles. I know President Thomas S. Monson to be that true prophet on the earth today. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and that along with the Bible, it testifies of Christ. I know that families can be together throughout eternity, because of sacred sealing ordinances performed in temples, and that anyone who lives worthy of these blessings can obtain them. I know that God is the same yesterday, today and forever, and that he loves his children as much in these latter days as he did in the days of Adam or Moses. Because I know that God loves his children, I know that he would not leave his children alone. He has provided us with a beautiful plan of happiness. He wants us to come to a knowledge of his plan and prepare ourselves here on this earth to come and live with him again someday. I know that when I am in line with his will I am happy. I know God loves me.

How I live my faith

I try to be an example of the Savior. I try not to judge others, and strive to see others as children of God. We hold Family Home Evenings with our children and discuss Gospel Topics to help strengthen each other. I read my scriptures, ponder and pray. Reflection is a big thing for me. I live the Word of Wisdom, and give Service to those within my reach, within the church, as well as to my neighbors and friends who don't yet have the gospel in their lives. I share my beliefs with others.
