Hi I'm Rob

I love pretty much all sports. My wife and I have been married for 26 years. We have 4 kids (2 grandchildren) and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Utah and grew up in Lehi. I served a mission in Korea. After graduating from BYU in engineering, my wife and I moved to Washington. When we moved to Washington, it was always a 5 year plan and then we would move back closer to our families. That was 26+ years ago, and we have loved living in the Puget Sound area. We have 4 children and have enjoyed being parents and now grandparents. I have loved being with my kids as they were growing up. I enjoy sports and outdoor activities. I have always considered my self very fortunate to have my best friend as my wife and companion.

Why I am a Mormon

While I was growing up, I would have said that I am a Mormon because that was my heritage. But, I feel I have developed my own personal witness that the teachings of the church are true. I have seen blessings in my life and the lives of my children by following the teachings and applying those teachings in our everyday lives. I want to be with my family forever and I know the church provides me the guidance to be able to do just that.

How I live my faith

I would say that I have tried to understand and apply the teachings of the church into my life. I have fallen short, but I keep the perspective that I can do better. I have served in various positions over the years that have helped me to increase my faith. I have been actively involved in working with the youth of our stake. I have participated in scouting serving in both troop and district level positions.
