Hi I'm Garth

I am proud to be a Mormon. I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for most of my life.

About Me

I am currently employed as a operations manager for Bailey's Moving & Storage. I have a wife and 4 boys that keep me very busy. My family are very busy with different sports. I coach my youngest boys baseball team. He is now getting interested in basketball and lacrosse. My other boys are interested in football, tennis, cross country, and track. My eldest son is a computer geek.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I am very grateful for the many blessing that I have received from my Heavenly Father. I am very grateful for the gospel and the meaning it gives me in my life. The gospel has made me a better loving husband and father. I love to know that I am able to live again with my family after this life is over. I am thankful to Jesus Christ for His atonement to make it possible for us to be forgiven of our sins so that we can live with Him and our Father in Heaven again.

How I live my faith

Our church is a church of service. We are very service oriented. We strive to be like Christ. As well as serving in different assignments for my church I am very busy in the community. I am actively involved in helping coordinate the emergency / disaster preparedness in my community of Jefferson County and Lakewood, CO. I am also in charge of helping run our church cannery that provides food for the homeless and those in need for all of Colorado. In addition to providing food locally we ship food all around the world to those that are in need in cases of emergency such as: hurricanes, floods or other disasters.
