Hi I'm Jen

I live in Arizona. I have 3 daughters. I love to exercise and read I am a fitness instructor and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My favorite thing to do is hang out with my family. My daughters range from 15 to 3 and we love the time we get to spend together. We love to go on walks, swim, play outside but our favorite thing to do is go on bike rides together. When the weather is good we try and ride our bikes everywhere we go. I love to exercise. I love biking, running and group fitness classes. My happy place is the water (especially lakes and oceans). I love boating activities like wakeboarding, skiing and wake surfing. I love to read, especially historical fiction. I love the warm weather and sun and hate the cold and the snow. I love my extended family, my sisters are my best friends and I am so grateful to have them. I have wonderful parents and siblings and so does my husband. We feel very blessed to have them in our lives. I love spending time with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I cannot think of any better thing that I can do with my life/time. I can think of nothing better to teach my children. Being a Mormon means I challenge myself everyday to be a better person. People think that being a Mormon asks a lot of us, that is a blessing to me. I know I will never get to the end of this life and say I tried too hard to be a good person. I will never regret that. I know that the church is true, I have felt it more times than I could ever even remember. I feel so blessed to be a part of such an amazing religion that has inspired my family to be better. I am a Mormon so that I know exactly what standards I should be teaching my kids to be better people. I don't ever have to wonder if we should be like the world. I know exactly what I believe and what we should be doing as human beings to return to our Father in Heaven. I love having my family be so involved in something that gives us so many opportunities to serve. My children grow up knowing that there are a lot of people that need help in the world and they know what they can do to help them. Our standards are never a question, we know what is expected. I am a Mormon because I know I could never believe anything but that the Book Of Mormon and the Bible are the word of God after reading them. I could never turn back after I read the Book of Mormon, I know it is true.

How I live my faith

Living your faith means it is a part of your life every single day. I try to do what Heavenly Father asks me to do even if no one is watching. I am willing to give my time and energy to the gospel. I have served with the youth for many years and know that that program came from God. I have given the youth so much of my time but it doesn't feel like a sacrifice, it feels like a blessing. I love the Visiting Teaching program. I have felt the spirit so many times when I am visiting with these amazing ladies. I live my Faith by supporting my husband in his calling. He is in the Bishopric and it requires a lot of time. I try to help him in whatever way I can. I am so proud of the way he handles this calling he always makes sure that his family is his top priority. He serves with such an amazing attitude it inspires me to do better. I live my faith by trying to share my testimony with my children and others that I come in contact with. I want everyone to have the same opportunity to be a part of this gospel that I have. I live my Faith by making church a priority and that includes church activities for the youth. My girls know that that is where they need to be. I try to live my faith every second of every day.
