Hi I'm Kelli

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married and a mother of four. I enjoy being at home most of the time, but I am also a registered nurse and a substitute teacher. I love to cook and I love anything that allows me to save money by "doing it yourself" (DIY projects)! I love the beach, swimming and spending time with my family up in the white mountains.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because it brings me much joy and happiness. I was brought up by my parents who were devoted mormons, but at some point I had to choose for myself if I was going to continue being an active member of our church. It might sound a little too simplistic, but when I live the principles of Jesus Christ's gospel, I know I am doing what God wants me to do. I feel a huge sense of peace and joy in my life, and I know our Heavenly Father loves us and blesses us when we follow Him and His teachings.

How I live my faith

Currently, I work with young women ages 12-18 yrs. old in our church. I love working with these wonderful kids! They have so much potential and are such strong individuals. It has blessed my life to help them set worthy goals in their lives and to help them understand that Jesus Christ is their Savior and Friend. As part of our youth program, we meet with the girls on Sundays and one weekday every week and participate in a variety of activities aimed to help them serve others and to develop spiritually, socially, physically and intellectually. For example, one night we might play volleyball. Another night we might learn how to do yoga or to bake a cake. One night, we put together donated school supplies for less fortunate kids. The opportunities are endless and we try to have worthwhile and educational activities. It's so much fun and so rewarding to work with them!
