Hi I'm Mark

I'm an Arizona native, enjoy Thai food, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for over 7 years, and we have 3 beautiful kids, ages, 6, 4, and 2. I have a Bachelors degree in Exercise and Wellness and am pursuing a Masters Degree in Public Administration. I actually enjoy landscaping, except in the 115 degree AZ summer. I enjoy running, only recently, and completed my first marathon in April of this year. What a blast.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have come to know that the Lord has established His church once again on the earth. I have come to know this by the Holy Ghost. I have prayed and studied for myself and have felt the same power that the disciples of old in the Bible felt, on that day of Pentecost. I know that He lives, that He loves us, and He continues to direct the affairs of His church through a living prophet and apostles. He does not want us to be confused about Him and how to return to live with him. He sent the Holy Ghost and through that power, I have learned for myself the truth, that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints contains all the truths of the Gospel of Christ. I know we are His children and prepared the way for our return...those are just a few reasons I am a Mormon

How I live my faith

Right now I am currently asked to serve by leading most of the adult men in my local congregation. It is a wonderful opportunity to serve other members of the church and their friends and neighbors. I enjoy visiting with them in their homes to strength them in Christ, as well as gain strength from them in seeing their dedication and commitment to the Lord. That also gives me opportunities to organize social events. We have had softball games, skit nights, date nights, holiday activities, etc. I live my faith through commitment to my wife and kids. I know they are children of God and have been entrusted to me to serve and protect. I do not take that responsibility lightly.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Mark
I enjoy being in the outdoors and seeing the beauty that is all around us. This beauty is a testimony that God lives, that He loves us, and that He created this world so we could enjoy it. The birth of a child is quite a miraculous occasion. Who has ever held a brand new born baby, that can deny the child came straight from our Father in Heaven's presence? I am grateful for the wonderments (for lack of a better word) that God allows me to see around me everyday, if I just open my eyes. Everything around me declares that there is a God, and I am His child. Show more Show less
