Hi I'm Mike

Life is one big Adventure!

About Me

I grew up in Montana and enjoy sports, music and the great outdoors. I played basketball at church, and ran high school cross country for 2 years(and I still run races). I enjoy a variety of music. I played 3 different musical instruments in high school trumpet, baritone and tuba. I enjoy scouting. I am an eagle scout. I have been active in the scouting program since the age of 8. I grew up a Mormon and served a two year mission to the Philippines Olongapo mission. I went to college at BYU-Idaho, earned my B.S. in Health Science corporate health and safety. I am a father of a wonderful boy. In my spare time I love to create graphic designs, write, draw and paint. I enjoy new adventures fun fact, I have lived in Canada, Montana, Arizona, Idaho, Wyoming, Texas, Colorado, North Dakota, New Jersey, and Utah. That being said, life is one big adventure and people need friends. I have met many wonderful people across the nation but most of all, I enjoy spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it just makes the most sense out of all of the religions in the world, only the LDS church has answers to everything. Although my faith is not perfect, I love the gospel and sharing information about the church. The Book of Mormon has changed my life. I grew up mormon, but didn't fully understand the Mormon or LDS religion growing up. At the age of 16, I prayed to know the truth after reading the Book of Mormon for the first time all the way through, and I found out for myself that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. I served a full time mission for the church in the Philippines where my testimony was increased and have been active in the church every since. The mormon faith is not just about going to church, but in fact it is about building an extended family and then keeping it for eternity.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church and serving faithfully in the callings I am assigned. Service is truly the most important part of living the LDS gospel.
