Hi I'm Mary

I grew up in the water. I changed professions from civil engineer to mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married and the mother of four young children. I love to swim, sew, and read biographies. I enjoy home projects and refinishing furniture. I like to organize things and solve math problems. I love the olympics. I make lists for everything.

Why I am a Mormon

In the beginning I was a mormon by heritage. I was raised learning the truths of the gospel in my home and watching my parents live the principles they taught. Along the way I learned for myself through the spirit that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true and that Jesus Christ is my savior. I read the Book of Mormon and gained a testimony of its truthfulness. When I moved on my own I made the choice to apply what I knew about the gospel into how I live my life. The knowledge that I have about God's plan for me gives me peace and happiness. Access to God's spirit and influence help me remember my purpose in life, make choices that lead to happiness, and continue to learn and grow. The more experiences I have in living the gospel, the stronger my testimony becomes. While I will always be a mormon by heritage, I am also a mormon by faith and conviction.

How I live my faith

I try to apply my faith to all aspects of my life. The teachings of the church and the spirit are excellent guides in parenting. As I try to be more like Jesus Christ, I have a greater desire to serve others. I love to help teach the principles of the gospel; I find I am often taught much through the spirit as I study and prepare to teach others.
