Hi I'm Ali

I'm a wife to a cute husband and a mommy to the sweetest little boy in the world. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

My name is Ali. I am 22 years old. I met my husband at BYU-Idaho and we were married a little over a year ago. Almost exactly a year later, our sweet baby boy was born. We graduated school shortly after and are now living in Washington where I grew up. I am a stay-at-home mommy and am so happy to finally be what I have always wanted to be! I love to scrapbook, write, take pictures, cook, be outside, craft and be with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

As I look back over the years, I feel so blessed to have had the Gospel in my life. Aside from providing me with standards that I could choose to live by and be happy, the Gospel of Jesus Christ has provided my family and me with countless blessings of comfort, healing, protection, direction and hope. I can see how much life has been changed and shaped by our Heavenly Father and Christ's plan for me. How grateful I am for the knowledge of a Savior and a way to return back to my Father in Heaven to be with my family eternally. Becoming a mother has made me even more grateful to be a member of the Church. As I look at my perfect little boy, I can't help but worry about the trials and challenges that he will face as he grows throughout his life. However, I know that as he develops a testimony of his own, he can depend on our Father in Heaven for any hardships that he may face. I know that he will receive special comfort when he needs it, have hope to be better when he makes a mistake, and experience true happiness and joy as he lives the commandments. I am so grateful to be a member of Christ's Church. I can't imagine my life without it. I am happy everyday because of all that I have been blessed with in my life. I know that each one of my many blessings have come from a Father in Heaven who loves me.

How I live my faith

Each day I try to keep Heavenly Father in my mind and work on making decisions that He would be proud of. I try to pray and study the scriptures as often as I can- I have found that those two things keep me balanced and happy more than anything else! I am focusing right now on getting to know Jesus Christ better and am studying His ministry on the earth in the New Testament. Aside from that, I just do the best I can in my roles as a wife, mommy, sister, daughter, granddaughter, cousin and friend. I am trying to show more gratitude and thank Heavenly Father every day for what He has given me and also have hope that I can be better as I continue to depend on Him and try to do what's right.
