Hi I'm Ashley

I grew up in Arizona and Utah. I am a hairstylist and I work from home. I am a Mom, friend and wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Mom to 2 kids, and due to have another in March. I am married to Adam, my best friend. I love my family so much and most of my time is spent doing things with them and others. I love to play volleyball, and could swim all day. I am a hairstylist by trade and enjoy getting to know people. I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know in my heart and mind that the Savior, Jesus Christ, lives and directs His church through a modern day living prophet, Thomas S. Monson. I feel the spirit everytime I read the Book of Mormon and know the truths I have found in there better my life and my relationships. I feel at home when I attend church and know that this gospel has the ability to make anyone and everyone extremely happy... long term happiness. When I am living the way I know my Heavenly Father wants me to, I feel secure and even when life is hard, I can feel hope and love. He buoys me up and strengthens my weaknesses. I believe Jesus Christ restored His church to the earth for us to enjoy all the truths of His "Good News".

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as the 1st counselor in the Relief Society Presidency, an organization for women 18 and up. I love my calling because I get to help the women in my area feel the spirit. We plan meetings and activities which help the women feel the spirit of the Lord, which motivates and uplifts them. We also rally around those in our area who might be sick or going through a hard time. It feels so good to know that you can be there for someone in times of need. It also feels amazing to have friendships that feel more like sisterhood and when I have been in need in the past they are there for me as well. I love the sisters I serve with.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

I believe the only way you can truly increase your faith in Jesus is by knowing more about Him and what He has counseled us to do. When we do the things he has asked we come to understand that He has a purpose in those things. We see that he is strengthening us, preparing us and building a better person. We feel His love for us as we know Him in our hearts and feel His spirit around us. If you want to "test" the seed, you must do those things which will nourish the seed. Pray, even a simple prayer can be powerful, ask Him to help you understand what you read in the scriptures, pray while you are reading and continue doing this and your faith will grow in Jesus Christ.
