Hi I'm Stacy

I'm a wife, mom, and a Mormon.

About Me

First and foremost, I am a mommy. I love my kids and being a stay at home mom to them. They are the loves of my life. I am married to the easiest going guy I know. He treats us so well and is my best friend. I enjoy spending all of my free time with him. We have such a great time together. We often go quad riding, camping, shooting, etc. We love the outdoors and being active with our kids. I love the beach and would choose to spend all of my vacations there if I could convince everyone else. Snorkeling in Maui is something that is so exciting for me and I'm not sure if I could top that. In my free time, I love doing crafts, home decor, and anything artistic. I work out hard and would love to someday run a 1/2 marathon or Ragnar race.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and have had a pretty easy childhood in the gospel. I chose good friends that did good things and grew up with strong families. I first gained a true testimony of the gospel when I was about 16 yrs old. A good friend of mine passed away in a car accident. It devastated our ward and families. I had a very hard time coping with this. Our bishop at the time shared his testimony with us. He told us that he KNEW our friend was in heaven and was in good terms with our heavenly father. He KNEW that we'd be with her again someday. During her viewing, I looked at her. She was gone. That was not the friend I knew. She was no longer here. My testimony started that day. The day that I knew that we truly have eternal families. We will return to heaven to meet our Heavenly Father who will welcome us with open and loving arms. I do know that someday I will be with my entire family there and that gives me comfort in this life. I have been strengthened multiple times through prayer and blessings. I am truly happy and proud to be part of a church with so many kind and loving people.

How I live my faith

I teach Sunday School to 12 and 13 yr olds. They are a such a fragile stage in life. They teach me every Sunday more than I probably teach them. I am amazed at their strength through trials. I love to give service to those in need and hope that my children can continue to see their parents doing this and grow up service minded. I see service as a key to our wards and beyond. We will be blessed if we serve. Helping others helps us be better people.

What is being a Mormon like?

Being a Mormon is a wonderful thing. We strive daily to be good children and good parents to our children and keep them healthy and safe. We believe in education. We try to keep our bodies healthy with exercise and eating healthy. We live normal clean lives trying to help others along the way. We are looking for true happiness and to share our happiness with others. Show more Show less
