Hi I'm Tim McFadden

I'm a husband, father and disciple of Jesus Christ. I'm a chiropractor and help people achieve optimum health. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married to the love of my life for 28 years. We have 6 children ages 13 through 27. Our oldest just announced her engagement while our youngest just began junior high school. Our fourth child was born with a rare chromosomal imbalance called Trisomy 18. She lived with us 28 beautiful days before she returned to her Father in Heaven. I am a chiropractor and my main focus is to help people achieve optimum levels of health through specific spinal care and sound nutritional counseling. I love sports in their purer forms (college over professional), I love the outdoors, I love music and the performing arts, I love to read and learn.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon for a number of reasons. I have the good fortune to have been born into the church. However, my upbringing was less than the typical Mormon upbringing. My father was a member from birth and he helped in the conversion of my mother. He fell away from the church and my mother remained active, teaching her four children the importance of attending church. They were divorced when I was 7 and my siblings and I lived with my mother. My childhood activity in the church was spotty and by the time I was in high school, I had stopped attending. My older sister remained actively involved and encouraged me often to stay in touch with the church and consider serving a church mission. After wasting a year of college, realizing that I had no direction in my life, I finally looked back to the church for direction. It was then that I realized that there was a Father in Heaven who cared for me. I grew closer to him through studying the Scriptures and found peace in knowing that his guidance was available through living prophets. My life has become so much fuller as I have continued to study and listen to the promptings of the Spirit. I have a beautiful life with a beautiful family and a clear understanding of who I am and what God has planned for me.

How I live my faith

I actively participate in my local congregation. In the church, those who are able and willing are given "callings." These callings range from teaching to leadership roles. I am actively involved in the leadership of my Priesthood group. I believe that we learn best when we teach others and we grow best when we serve others. I always try to serve in whatever capacity I can.
