Hi I'm Court

I'm an Artist. I'm an amateur movie critic. I'm a gamer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Art is my life. I grew up in a family that, together, watched movies. Because of that, I have gained a love for movies and began, in my teenage years, reviewing movies as an amateur. I believe that movies are a form of art, and that has been the driving factor for the reviews that I give. I also am a huge video gamer and comic book junkie. Like movies, video games and graphic novels are some of the greatest ways to tell an engaging and beautiful story, and show art in new and incredible ways.

Why I am a Mormon

As I've lived my life, I've discovered that there are only two types of happiness. Pleasure and joy. Pleasure comes from anything, whether it be art, video games, movies, or even sinning. The feelings of pleasure are temporary, and must be refueled, causing one to delve deeper and deeper into the worldly thing, until it takes control of you. Pleasure cannot be satisfied. Joy, on the on the other hand, can only come in and through the redeeming power of the Lord Jesus Christ. As I have dedicated my time and my talents to my Savior and Redeemer, I've discovered a true and adoring love for Him. His Atonement (His suffering in the garden and death on the cross) has been my mission to proclaim. That through Him, our sins can be cleansed and our garment may be white through the blood of Him who died for us. Repentance brings pure and satisfying joy. I am a Mormon because I know for a fact, that nothing can bring me more satisfaction, peace and joy except my Lord and my God, Jesus the Christ.

How I live my faith

Proclaiming this peace that I've felt has been a great blessing in my life. Service, as Christ has said, is a way for me to serve the God who has given me everything. A chance for me to feel the unconditional love that Christ has for all of our brethren. I have consecrated my time and my art, to showing my love for the Savior, and sharing Christ's Atonement. He is everything to me.
