Hi I'm Cory

I'm a high school graduate. I'm a lifeguard. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am not very exciting, I get up every morning and do things most kids close to leaving home do. I work as a lifeguard at the local pool and I go to lap swim every once in a while. I hang out with my close friends and I read books like I eat candy. I am in the process of earning as much money as I can before I leave home and that is about it. I do have a few things I do during downtime, such as playing video games, playing my guitar, and watching television.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that consisted of several active members of this church, since I can remember, every week I have gone to church. When I was 16 though, I started to wonder why I was a member, I looked into other churches but none of them really stood out as anything I agreed with. Through careful study and prayer I learned that This is the church that I belong to because it is true. I know that there is a prophet on the Earth today and that he receives revelation for us all from God. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and redeemer and He and his Father love each and every one of us.

How I live my faith

I have always been in youth leadership positions in my church. If I wasn't the go-to guy for my area, I was a representative for the youth in my area. I am saving my money right now to serve a mission in this upcoming year. I go to church every week and I try to make it to all the youth group meetings. I also try to be an example to my friends about how I am a Mormon.
