Hi I'm Katie

I was born and raised in Mexico. I'm a college student. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Mexico, without an ounce of Hispanic blood in me, in a small farming community. My dad grows peaches, apples and Chili. I am fluent in English and Spanish. When I graduated high school, I moved to the United States to continue my education and pursue a career. After two long years of trying to pick a career that I would love, I have finally found it and feel confident I have made a great choice. I love to play basketball, read, hang out with friends and swimming. My family means everything to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church all my life. Much of my life I depended on my mother and father's testimony, until I decided that I needed my own testimony. I read The Book of Mormon with a sincere desire to know that it is true, and I received that confirmation. This gospel means everything to me. I know with all my heart that it is true and nothing will ever change that. I am grateful to be a part of this true church. It is what made me who I am today. Without it, I know I would be lost.

How I live my faith

I attend a wonderful singles ward, where I can get to know so many people who are my age and are going through the same phase of life. I am a member of the Ward Choir. Although I'm not that great of a singer I enjoy singing. The church always has fun activities and events on a weekly basis. Its a great place to meet new people and to just have fun.
