Hi I'm Lindzi

I'm a dog lover. I'm a Californian. I'm a Seinfeld fan. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in San Diego, CA. I grew up doing dance, theater and singing. I went to an arts high school in Orange County and majored in theater and then attended Syracuse University in upstate New York as an acting major. While on breaks from school I worked at Legoland CA as Princess Lily of Castle Hill- no shame. Ideally, I would one day like to travel as a humanitarian to third world countries to teach kids theater as an outlet for them to express themselves and start a non profit organization of my own. I have ten nieces and finally now one nephew. They're the greatest. I love golden retrievers. I love kids. I love the ocean. I love puns and dumb jokes. I love learning. I love traveling, music, people and most importantly- I love being a Mormon. Come to church and see what it's all about!

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon gives me something to live for. I know who I am, I know where I came from, and I know where I'm going. I know I am never alone here and can always ask for help and guidance from my Heavenly Father. I used to feel embarrassed for having standards and morals that I felt restricted me and forced me to miss out on a lot of what this world has to offer. I have now learned through making some mistakes and through living what the world's idea of happiness is, that none of that is true or lasting. None of it is real and none of it matters. Living high standards and living the gospel principles gives my life direction, and actually gives me more freedom. I have never felt greater confusion or have felt so lost than when I was living by the world's standards. I have never felt greater joy, hope and security than when living the gospel and when keeping the promises I have made with my Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ. I can now proudly say that I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and I wouldn't have it any other way. 2 Nephi 5:27 - And it came to pass that we lived after the manner of happiness.

How I live my faith

I am currently a missionary serving in the Washington, Everett mission. I have been lucky enough to have been born and raised in the church, but both of my parents are actually converts to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They both made complete life changes after reading the Book of Mormon and learning more about the church from missionaries. Soon after they were baptized, they were able to go to the temple with my older brother, who was four years old at the time. There they were sealed together as a family, so that we could be together for all time and for all eternity- not just until death do we part. I wouldn't be here today if it weren't for those missionaries teaching my parents about the restored church of Jesus Christ. The gospel saved my family. Because of the huge blessing it has been in our lives, I have the desire to share the gospel and the testimony that I have to everyone out there who is willing to listen- to people, like my parents, who are searching for hope. Miracles CAN happen. I've seen it firsthand. Our Heavenly Father has provided a way for us to overcome the challenges we all are faced with in this life, and feel at peace through it all, because He loves us and wants us all to return back to live with Him one day.
