Hi I'm Emily

I am a devoted wife and a mother of 5 young active children. I love doing crafts and sewing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Most of my time is occupied in caring for and loving my family of 5 young children. I enjoy reading books, watching movies, camping, doing house projects or just spending time with my hubby. I love to dabble in all sorts of crafts and sewing. It has been fun the past couple of years decorating our first home. Some day I will go back to school and major in emergency preparedness. I right now I am in the process of getting my ham radio license.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up with the gospel in my home. I have come to learn over the years that my Father in Heaven loves me and I know he sent his Son, Jesus Christ to this Earth to be our Savoir and Redeemer. Through the rough times in my life I have grown to depend on prayer and the Holy Ghost. I know through His help I have learned and been strengthened through lives experiences. I'm am a member of his church because it makes me happy. God has a vast plan for each of us and I know as I try to follow it my life is more fulfilling and enjoyable.

How I live my faith

As a member of the Church presently I serve in the women's organization called the relief society. As a visiting teaching coordinator I help organize the watch care over the women in the church. I love being part of a group of women from so many walks in life that are bound together by love, service and the gospel. Growing up in the church I have known no other way to live. It is common to bring meals to the sick, to care for each others kids, to just hang out, to find other projects to do or service to render. I know God organized his church through service and love because that is how Christ lived His life. I love being a Mormon!

What is the Relief Society?

All women over the age of 18 in the church are members of Relief Society. We are a group of women striving to strengthen homes and family, increase our spiritual righteousness and endeavor to serve others. Show more Show less
