Hi I'm Winter

I love kids, because I believe I'll always be one, I enjoy reading and crochet. I love laughing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love animals, especially cats. I'm a respite provider for the best kid in the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I love my church. It's full of some of the nicest, most caring people in the world. As soon as you walk in the door you feel loved. You feel like you belong.

How I live my faith

I just got released from teaching the 4 and 5 year olds. It's amazing how much they understand and love their Heavenly Father and Savior already. We have so much fun singing, reading and learning about the scriptures.

Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon Temples? What goes on in Mormon Temples?

Visitors are always welcome at the temples, for open houses, or just to visit the temple grounds. However, only baptized members who qualify and are prepared may enter a temple after it's dedicated. In temples, members participate in ordinances designed to unite their families together forever and help them return to God. Inside the temple, they are able to learn eternal truths, receive sacred ordinances (including those that bind husband and wife for eternity, as well as children to their parents), provide ordinances such as baptism for those who've died without an opportunity to receive the gospel of Jesus Christ. Who was Joseph Smith?

Joseph Smith was the first Prophet (like Moses, Isaiah, etc) of our church. Joseph Smith, Jr. was born in VT. One of 11 siblings. He was taught to pray, read the Bible, and have faith in God. At 14, he received an answer to fervent prayer, when he saw God the Father, and His Son, Jesus Christ. At 17, he began receiving heavenly messengers who prepared him for his role in the Restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ to the earth. Show more Show less
