Hi I'm Fife

born and raised in Bristol, England; And have a sure testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ, I am a Mormon :D

About Me

My name is Fife. I come from England and I’m a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I was baptised 11 years ago. My mum and Dad were baptised the year I was born. There are six of us in our family and I have two older sisters and one younger sister. I guess you could say were an average family. A lot has happened in all of our lives but we've always kept that family relationship... I think that’s the same for most people, but no matter what happens for us we represent our family and not matter what happens our family bonds are always there. As for me... I studied Drama in college and I like learning about military history, so dramatized documentaries are the best. sports? I love football, rugby, fencing, badminton, table tennis, etc... but this doesn’t mean I’m good at any of them.

Why I am a Mormon

I guess because I was baptised at 9, there are some who think that I didn’t do it for the right reasons that I was too young to understand. But at that time of my life I still remember just feeling that it was right. The gospel of Jesus Christ as it is found in the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints can be taught simply so a child can understand. I knew then as I do now at baptism starts the journey back to heavenly father and to be with my family for ever. I love my family and my heavenly father, the chance to be with them forever is worth any sacrifice. At baptism self-perfection isn’t needed. Because heavenly father loves even a child like I was, he sent his spirit to tell me it was the right. As I progressed in life, doubt and trials came and a 9 year Old’s testimony can’t cope with the stress of teenager or adult life. I found that I needed to know again. And through studying the scriptures, attending church and praying to know if it was still true, those answers cam. But yet again as trials and my situation changed, those answers weren’t enough and I wanted to know again and I once again did what they tell everyone to do. I prayed about it. To this day I am still feeling the spirit tell to me the restored gospel of Jesus Christ is true and that I am a child of god. The answers to life’s questions and the confirmation of testimony are found in the scriptures and by prayer.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith? I try to pray so that my relationship with heavenly father is such that I can receive strength and help whenever I need it and so that I can help others when god needs me to. I live my faith by trying to be more like Jesus Christ; to be there for people when they need me or serving them when I’m asked to, helping others, uplifting them, forgiving them and strengthening them. I live my faith by trying to feel the spirit. And the more worthy we are the more we can feel it. The Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit) can help us in all our trials. It is what we can use to know of truth and right. It is one of the main sources that heavenly father uses to speak to me... through those quiet whisperings. I live my life trying to do all those things that will help me get back to heavenly father again. I’m not perfect. But through the atonement of Jesus Christ we are given that path and it is up to us to walk that path. God doesn’t show us the way and tells us to go... but shows us the way, shows us how to walk along that road and then does it with us.
