Hi I'm Geoff

I grew up in Idaho. I went to school in Hawai'i. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Born in Utah but I spent a large part of my life in Idaho. I played football and lacrosse in high school and still play today. Graduated from high school in 2010 and left shortly after to go to school at BYU-Hawaii in Laie on Oahu. After three semesters in Hawaii with a ton of adventures, I came back home to Idaho to work. I worked in an iron foundry for a number of months before coming out here to Reno to be a missionary for the church. I am super excited to be out here serving a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

This religion is more than just a religion. it is a way of life and is a great way to live. The church provides council on how to better live your life so that you are able to enjoy it to its fullest potential. Its morals aren't difficult to live and have preovided me with a great way to enjoy life. It provides me with answers to the toughtest questions in life. Why am I here? Where am I going? and a lot more questions as well. Living by the standards and example of Christ has helped me in times of need and throughout all my life; good or bad. Christ is my perfect example and everyone can follow him by living his teachings.

How I live my faith

I live my faith right now by being a missionary for the church. I serve and teach the people of Reno and will for the next two years.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Being a 19 year old member of the church, I get this great opportunity to go out a share what I know to be true. I have found the gospel to be an essential part of my life and a great tool to help me get through all aspects of life; whether it is school, work, or even being a missionary. Because of this great joy i have found personally, I want to go out and share it with everyone else so they can have the same joy that I have. Show more Show less
