Hi I'm Larry

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in the church as my parents were members. As a youth I lived in California, Tennessee and Utah.

About Me

As I mentioned, I grew up in the Mormon church and lived in several parts of the United States. As an adult, I have lived in Neveda, California, New Mexico, Utah, Arizona and Hawaii. I mention this so that the reader will see I have seen members of the church in many different settings. Obviously I have been influenced by the various members, teachers and leaders over the years. I served a church mission to Arizona and New Mexico. I was married in the Oakland Temple to my beautiful wife over thirty years ago and have three wonderful children. I attended BYU where I received a degree in broadcast communications and briefly worked for NBC doing sports reporting. I now work in real estate in both Arizona and Hawaii. I still love to participate in sports particularly anything that involves water surfing, body boarding, scuba) or chasing a ball (softball, tennis, racquetball).

Why I am a Mormon

I have always believed the Mormon church to be true. I can also say that by spending a lot of time with believers of other faiths that I am tolerent of other religious views. You will not hear me say that I know the Mormon church is the ONLY true church but I do indeed believe it to be true. I am a firm believer in the concept that we will be judged by how we treat others and what's the intent of our actions.

How I live my faith

I am very much a "spirit of the law" person. I love to have fun and surround myself with individuals who feel the same. This is a big part of why I attend church each week. I draw strength from those who have the same or at least very similar beliefs.
