Hi I'm Lauren

I'm an athlete. I like to beat boys at sports. I'm a student. I love to help people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from southern california. I was adopted at age 5 from my wonderful parents. I have four older siblings, and 10 neices and nephews! I just love SO MUCH! I grew up playing sports, soccer, basketball, softball, and volleyball. I often beat boys at sports, and I love it. I love to go to the beach, river, and lake. I love to write in my journal. I love to stay up late, but hate getting up in the morning. I go to school at Brigham Young University studying psychology. I love helping people by listening to them, and help them resolve whatever struggles they're facing. I am currently serving as missionary for 18 months for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in Everett, Washington. I love it! It has brought the greatest joy into my life, to see so many people desire to come closer to Christ, and find for themselves the fullness of Christ's Church.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon, because the lessons I've learned, the experiences, and trials I've had through out my life. I can't ever deny that the things I've learned and felt are true through the Spirit. I am who am I am today because of my Savior Jesus Christ and my parents teaching me to follow His example. I have seen my life be transformed and I have seen others lives change because of The Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints. I recognized that the times I have been happiest in my life, is when I am striving to do my very best in following Christ by being more loving, serving others, and making good choices. I know this is His Church because of the principles I have been taught, and the way the Church helps me to become more like Him, and through my OWN PERSONAL sincere scripture study and prayer time and time again. I know this is true.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my life in everything that I do, in all that I say and think. I'm striving to become a true disciple of Jesus Christ. It's not always the easiest task, but as I continued to serve others, and help them, and develop my faith in Christ, it has and will become easier. One way that I live my faith, is by telling people about it. I can't help but share what is most important in my life. = I want others to feel the joy that I experience living the gospel of Jesus Christ, and as I share my faith, my faith increases.
