Hi I'm Tanner!

I'm a carb counter. I play tennis. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Since I was young, I've been a pretty easy going person. In middle school I really grew to love playing sports- basketball, baseball, anything really. Tennis has since evolved into my favorite sport and I must attribute this to my dad. He's always been an avid tennis player; when I finally showed a desire to learn, he helped me find the love of the game. When I was 14 I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. At first it really scared me. As I've grown and learned more about it, however, I've realized the blessings that have come. I eat much healthier than I ever did before and exercise will forever be on my "to-do list." I've learned from this experience that God really does teach us many things in life by the trials he allows us to face. I've learned to be grateful for these trials, because I know they will make me into a better person.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that the Book of Mormon is true. The Book of Mormon has strengthened my relationship with Jesus Christ to the point that I know that it is of God. I've acted on those feelings and am now serving a two year mission to share the Gospel with others.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a full-time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. As a missionary, I have the great privilege of sharing Christ's gospel on a full-time basis for two years. The experience is unlike any other; I'm grateful for the opportunity that I have to change other lives for the better along with my own.
