Hi I'm Lyndzi

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the mother of two beautiful girls and have been married for almost 4 years to my eternal companion and love. I work from home so I am able to watch my kids grow and teach them. I love to watch them learn new things and find their individual personalities. They are very different girls but both beautiful in their own unique way! I love to laugh and find the humor in life. My husband and kids help with this alot! I Love to be creative and create things! I love to learn and develop new skills. And I enjoy(too much sometimes) BBQ chips, chocolate and curly fries. (not necissarily together! )

Why I am a Mormon

The security that comes from the knowledge that our families can be together FOREVER and that death is not the end brings great joy! I know that the guidelines that a loving heavenly father has created for us are here for our protection. These safety nets help us live the plan of happiness that was set for every one! We can all be happy! Life is a time to be tested, but through the hard times we are put through we then can more readily enjoy the good ones. We become thankful and and more understanding to help others in similar situations through their own suffering. Life is to be enjoyed, not just endured. I LOVE the relief society that has been established for the women of the church. We as strong, compassionate, enduring woman are able to come together and reach out to each other as well and others in need. Woman have been given such amazing gifts. One of the greatest of these is the gift of motherhood. We have the inate gifts and talents in each of us to care and teach like no one else! This extends not only to the children in our life but to all people and things! I love to watch my little girls as they care for their treasured toys and each other. They are the best sisters, constantly watching out for each other. TheyZ cry when the other is hurt and fight for a toy that has been wrongfully pulled away from their sister. The same way the sisters of the church support one another and carry each others burdens. You do not have to bear your burdens alone. I know the living prophet on the earth today is Pres. Thomas S. Monson and I know that the lord speaks to him just as he did to the prophets in the Old Testament. I know the scriptures are true! Including the Book Of Mormon which is a testament of the early people in the Americas. I am thankful for Temples on the earth today where we can go to seal ourselves to our families passed and living, forever.

How I live my faith

Going to church each Sunday. During church we teach the nursery(children ages 18mo. to 3years) they are such a joy to watch and be around! I visit teach certain sisters from the ward once a month outside of church. We meet in their home and discuss how they are doing, what I can do to help and share a short message. Every woman in the church has woman assigned to visit them. This helps build bonds of sisterhood and helps make sure everyone gets the help they need! We hold a Family Home Evening once a week in our home for the member of my family. We divide up the responsabilities to each family member including an opening song, opening prayer, scripture, lesson, activity, etc. We do this to bring our family together once a week to keep our family strong. Church teachers are so helpful but the best teaching is done inside the home. We try to hold daily family scripture study reading anywhere from a few verses to a chapter from the scriptures together. And family prayer morning and night! I also try on my own time to read scriptures and pray morning and night. We also say a prayer before each meal before we eat to give thanks for and bless the food. I know that being a good example to my family and others helps me to be strong. It is not evough to know. you must act on what you know!

How can we stop the spread and influence of pornography?

Pornography has become world wide spread and it has hurt and destryed many families and broken many hearts. It was a hard reality to accept that Pornography had become a part of my life despite any action of my own. In my opinion the only difference between that and cheating was actual physical touch but nothing else. It was unexpected and devastating. But the lord has outlined ways to overcome addictions and pornography. It starts in the home as many young people happe upon it as very young ages on the family computer. So putting up internet blocks will help lessen the ability to find it. Putting the computer in a public place where all are around. And seekign help from support groups and other individuals speialized in that area can help. joining the churchs support group for addicts has helped so much as well the support group for people with loved ones in addiction has truly changed my life. It took my marriage from almost over to stronger and fuller than before. Show more Show less
