Hi I'm Patricia

I'm a wife. I'm a student. I'm a dog trainer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a state park in Arizona. I have 2 sisters and 2 amazing parents. I am going to school to get my degree in Human and Family development. I hope to be able to work with the prison community. My husband is currently in nursing school. I train dogs for obedience and am learning the sport of agility. I love being with my husband and spending time in the outdoors with my husband and dogs.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Methodist church. I never knew much about the Mormon church but when I moved out to go to college I became close to some family friends who were members. I decided I would try to "save" them and get them to leave the Mormon church. However, after many discussions with them I came to realize the LDS church had a lot to offer me. I finally was baptized on August 28, 2004. My family has always loved me even though they had some major concerns about my conversion. Over time they have come to realize that the church has brought me so much happiness and peace in life. I am a Mormon because I came to know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is the only thing that will bring you comfort in this troublesome world. I know that the Book Mormon is a second witness to the life of Jesus Christ and it goes hand and hand with the Bible. I know that Jesus Christ died for us so our sins could be erased if we follow the proper steps.I know that Jesus Christ and our Father in Heaven love us and want the very best for us. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be like Jesus in every aspect of my life. Whether I am at home, work or school I try to be real, genuine, sincere, and compassionate. I also try to be aware of those around me who are down and do what I can to help them out. I am not perfect but I am trying.
